Project 5 a&b

This is Project 5, the largest project in Studio RUS104. It is the first and probably the only integrated studio project we have. I am in Group 2A, which consists of 17 persons from every major. We worked together to design a pavilion aimed to commemorate the late Sultan Azlan Shah of Perak. The assigned site is located at the Taiping Lake Gardens. The given time to complete this project is around one month, from site visit and analysis to design, costing, construction management and so on.
It is undeniably the most exhausting project for this whole semester, but also the most interesting and meaningful one. I really learned a lot through this project and enjoyed very much. From a group of people who didn't know each other to a bunch of cool friends who were willing to stay up for nights just to produce a perfect masterpiece together. It is definitely one of the best memories I have in Year 1 Semester 1.
What's more is that we are really happy and thankful that our group has been awarded The Best Project 5. We are very grateful for all our studio masters' help and advice, that has supported us all the way from the beginning til the end. Thank you very much!
